How to be a part of IKP Knowledge Park

Please submit a proposal to us covering the following points for consideration by a technical expert committee and the IKP Knowledge Park Board.

  • » Areas and broad particulars of research programmes to be carried out at IKP
  • » Requirement of space, period of lease, and likely time frame for occupation
  • » Broad business plan
  • » Brief description of activities and operations of promoter institutions / companies including Annual Report / Balance Sheet etc.
  • » Means of funding
  • » Number of staff likely to be positioned at the R&D centre
  • » Major R&D facilities to be installed
  • » Effluents that are likely to be generated with reference to quality and quantity, and their handling, bio-risks, gene containment facilities (if relevant) and commitment of compliance within the rule of the law, especially that of the state regulatory authorities
  • » Any other relevant information

Comments from the Technical Committee are expected within 3 weeks. The Committee reserves the right to select or reject an application and may request for additional inputs if necessary. On clearance by the Technical Committee, a draft Lease Agreement is sent to the applicant for their perusal. The Lease Agreement signed between the two parties has to be registered. The Lessee bears all costs of registration.
